Is the problem because of Windows 11 ? i didn’t upgrade from w10 to w11, it came with windows 11 when i bought it. For some reason I can't see any fans in this laptop with HWiNFO (or anything else for that matter), which I know is a common issue with Dells. I also uninstalled and reinstalled alienware command centre, OC controls, and dell power manager. 1 Hello, I have a Dell Precision 7770 laptop with i9-12950HX CPU and nVidia RTX 4500 GPU. I thought it was a BIOS problem but i have the latest one ( 1.4.0 ) that i reinstalled just in case but nothing changed. I tried using other softwares for the fan control but none of them could even detect the fans. When I start a csgo game I have around 300 fps but after about 20 minutes it drops down to 150 fps and the fans don’t seem to start running faster. My alienware command center looks very basic and lacks features, my dell power manager doesn’t have thermal management, and even though i can control the fans in the “fusion” section on the awcc, well when i put it at 100% the fans are actually not at their max at all, i would even say far from the maximum since it’s not very loud, and it’s sad because i feel like my pc is kind of restricted from its full potential and power. I don't have the “G” key and I'm unable to activate the G mode. I mostly use the laptop for studying and would like it to stay as silent as possible (merely having another monitor + Youtube + OneNote seem to make the fan louder) and I wouldn't mind if this meant that the laptop would be slower.
